about
Our brand new single entitled “Sinner (Pecador/죄인)” is a collaboration between Mexican American Post-Punk/Darkwave trio Haunt Me from San Antonio, Texas and K-goth/Darkwave band past self from Las Vegas, Nevada.
This song is a trilingual Darkwave song, with the first verse being sung in Korean(past self), the second verse being sung in Spanish(Haunt Me), and all of the choruses being sung in English (both bands collectively).
This song is about living as a minority with different views and beliefs in a predominantly white christian society and constantly feeling like an outcast.
“We believe this song is a must listen for any fan of dark music. We feel this track is truly special and unique because it’s the first trilingual goth/postpunk/darkwave song ever created and so it’s something we’re all extremely proud of. In our humble opinion, the release of this song is a modern day historical event in the world of music. Not only for goth music but for alternative music as a whole and for all minorities everywhere .”

lyrics
죄를진
이 도마뱀
내 눈물이
끄찌안아오
해질녘부터 새벽까질 내
등을 부러뜨려
내 이름까지 바꿔벌려도
세상은안바껴
Deprived even when i feel alive
I’m just a fiend to crucify
Me odias sin razón
Pero no conoces mi corazón
Tienes miedo de lo que no sabes
Nos ves como animales
Deprived, even when we feel alive
We are the fiends they crucify
Always a cold and darker night
When there’s a price to stay alive
A price to stay alive…
Deprived, even when we feel alive
We are the fiends they crucify
Always a cold and darker night
When there’s a price to stay alive
I've always enjoyed Boy Harsher but I don't think they ever really clicked in my brain until I watched The Runner. Now I can't get enough. Gordon Skramzy (Nathan)
